Nick Diaz will return to the Octagon for the first time in four years to take on Jorge Masvidal at UFC 235 on March 2.

Diaz (26-9-2NC) has been out of action dating back to his “no contest” against Anderson Silva at UFC 183 in January of 2015. Since his bout with Silva, Diaz has served an 18-month suspension for marijuana metabolites as well as a suspension last year for missing three out-of-competition USADA tests. He holds notable victories over the likes of Robbie Lawler, Frank Shamrock, Paul Daley, and B.J. Penn throughout an MMA career that spans all the way back to 2001.

Masvidal (32-13) is coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson at UFC 217 last November. “Gamebred” holds notable Octagon wins over Michael Chiesa, Ross Pearson, Jake Ellenberger, and Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone.
