Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Alvarez to Make ONE Championship Debuts on March 31
Former UFC flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and former UFC lightweight champion Eddie “The Underground King” Alvarez are both set to make their ONE Championship debuts on March 31.
Johnson (27-3-1) is coming off of a split decision loss to Henry Cejudo at UFC 227 in August. “Might Mouse” was the inaugural and longest reigning flyweight champion in UFC history. He will take on Yuya "Little Piranha'' Wakamatsu (10-3) in his ONE debut.
Alvarez (29-6-1NC) is coming off of a second-round TKO loss to Dustin Poirier in July. “The Underground King” has held lightweight championship gold in both Bellator and the UFC. He will battle Timofey Nastyukhin (12-3) in his ONE debut.
