UFC featherweight champion Cris "Cyborg" Justino will officially defend her title against current bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes at UFC 232. This "superfight" will take place on December 29 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Cyborg (20-1-1NC) is coming off of a first-round TKO victory over Yana Kunitskaya at UFC 222 in March. Her career spans all the way back to May of 2005 (where she suffered the only loss of her career) and she holds victories over notable fighters such as Gina Carano, Marloes Coenen, and Holly Holm. Cyborg will be looking to defend her featherweight title for the third time when she takes on Nunes.

Nunes (16-4) is riding a seven-fight win streak coming into the battle against Cyborg. During this current streak, Nunes has defeated Shayna Baszler, Sara McMann, Valentina Shevchenko (twice), Miesha Tate, Ronda Rousey, and most recently Raquel Pennington. Nunes has the opportunity to become the first dual-weight female champion in UFC history.
