Former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor has signed a new six-fight deal with the UFC. The first bout of McGregor’s new contract is his upcoming lightweight title fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 next month.

While the terms of the new contract were not disclosed, McGregor’s new Proper Whiskey brand will be an official sponsor for every UFC show that he competes on. The sponsorship will include the Proper Whiskey logo on the UFC canvas during the cards that feature “The Notorious” one in action.

UFC President Dana White told ESPN: “It's not hard to do a deal with Conor McGregor because we know what he's worth”.
