Gegard Mousasi successfully defended his Bellator middleweight championship against current welterweight champion Rory MacDonald in the main event at Bellator 206. Mousasi was able to stop MacDonald via vicious ground and pound in the second round of their superfight.
In the co-main event, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson evened his series 2-2 with Wanderlei Silva by stopping “The Axe Murderer” via TKO in the second round. Both Rampage and Silva have already expressed interest in a fifth rubber match.
