Petr Yan Signs New UFC Contract, Fights John Dodson in February
Emerging MMA star Petr Yan has signed a new four-fight deal with the UFC. Yan’s next bout will be a bantamweight contest against former flyweight title challenger John Dodson at UFC Prague on February 23.
Yan (11-1) is coming off of a second-round TKO victory over Douglas Silva de Andrade at UFC 232 last month. He holds an Octagon record of 3-0 and currently sits at #14 on the official UFC bantamweight fighter rankings.
Dodson (20-10) is coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Jimmie Rivera at UFC 228 in September. “The Magician” has gone 3-3 since returning to the bantamweight division from flyweight and currently sits at #8 on the official UFC bantamweight fighter rankings.
