Tyron Woodley vs. Kamaru Usman for Welterweight Title Set for UFC 235
Tyron Woodley is set to defend his UFC welterweight championship against Kamaru Usman at UFC 235 on March 2.
Woodley (19-3-1) is coming off of a second-round submission win over Darren Till at UFC 228 in September. “The Chosen One” defeated Robbie Lawler for the welterweight title back in July of 2016 and has successfully defended the belt against Till, Stephen Thompson, and Demian Maia.
Usman (14-1) is coming off of a unanimous decision victory over Rafael dos Anjos in November. The “Nigerian Nightmare” holds an Octagon record of 9-0 and currently sits at #2 on the official UFC fighter rankings.
