Glover Teixeira vs. Ion Cutelaba Re-Booked for UFC Miami
Glover Teixeira vs. Ion Cutelaba has been rescheduled for UFC Miami on April 27. The bout was originally set for UFC Brooklyn in January but was nixed due to Cutelaba suffering an injury.
Teixeira (28-7) is coming off of a first-round submission victory over Cutelaba’s replacement, Karl Roberson in January. Teixeira holds notable Octagon wins over the likes of Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Ovince Saint Preux, Rashad Evans, and current Bellator double-champ Ryan Bader since joining the UFC in 2012.
Cutelaba (14-3-1NC) is coming off of back-to-back wins over Henrique da Silva and Gadzhimurad Antigulov, most recently defeating Antigulov via first-round TKO in July. He holds an Octagon record of 3-2 since joining the UFC in 2016.
