A pivotal bantamweight matchup between Raphael Assuncao and Cory Sandhagen has been added to UFC 241 on August 17.

He currently sits at #2 on the official UFC bantamweight fighter rankings and holds an Octagon record of 11-3.

Sandhagen (11-1) is riding a six-fight win streak, most recently defeating John Lineker by split decision last month. He holds an Octagon record of 4-0 and currently sits at #8 on the official UFC bantamweight fighter rankings.

UFC 241 takes place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
