UFC 239 Results
Jon Jones defeated Thiago Santos in a highly competitive contest by split decision to retain his light heavyweight championship in the UFC 239 main event. Although Jones still scored the victory, Santos became the first fighter to ever officially win on a judge’s scorecard against “Bones.”
In the co-main event, Amanda Nunes made short work of Holly Holm. She retained her bantamweight strap by knocking out Holm with a head kick followed by GnP in the very first round.
Earlier in the night, Jorge Masvidal knocked out Ben Askren with a flying knee only 5 seconds into the first round to earn the fastest KO in UFC history.
