Amanda Nunes and Germaine de Randamie have verbally agreed to a rematch for the UFC bantamweight championship at UFC 245 on December 14. The matchup was reported by ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.

Nunes (18-4) is riding a 9-fight win streak, most recently defeating Holly Holm via first round TKO at UFC 239 in July. “The Lioness” is currently a dual-weight champion, as she also holds the UFC featherweight belt. Nunes defeated de Randamie by first round TKO in their initial meeting back in November of 2013. She holds notable victories over the likes of GDR, Holm, Raquel Pennington, Miesha Tate, Ronda Rousey, Cris Cyborg, and current flyweight queen Valentina Shevchenko (x2).

GDR (9-3) is riding a 5-fight win streak, most recently defeating Aspenn Ladd via TKO only 16 seconds into their contest in July. A former UFC featherweight champion, de Randamie holds Octagon wins over Ladd, Julie Kedzie, Larissa Pacheco, Anna Elmose, Holly Holm, and Raquel Pennington.

It is unknown at this time if the matchup between Nunes and GDR will headline UFC 245.
